ORIGIN Collection
ORIGIN is a unique jewellery collection inspired by Ilaria Antolini and Arianne Delaney shared passion for esotericism and ancient symbolism.
Offering a unique collection of statement pieces, ORIGIN is so much more than jewellery with Ilaria and Arianne preferring to describe the collection as a form of wearable art.
The logo, the designs, and the promotional materials have been created by Ilaria keeping in mind these principles and the true core of the project.
The elements used to create the logo are essentially two, the eye and the hands: some of the strongest and more meaningful between the ancient symbols.
Logo Concept
The eye is one of the most powerful symbols known to many cultures. It can be an indicator of good, evil, protection, wisdom, knowledge, secrecy, and mystery.
The hand is the most frequently symbolized part of the human body. It gives blessing, it is expressive. According to Aristotle, the hand is the “tool of tools.” In general, it is strength, power, and protection.

Jewellery Collection
ORIGIN combines the art of collage with ancient skills such as traditional and artisan gold leafing (also known as guilding), as well as metalsmithing skills. The collage art pieces were carefully put together from cut-outs from magazines, which were sealed together through a laminating process. The finished art collage pieces were then securely fastened to a layer of leather, ensuring the art collage charms are durable and can be worn as jewellery. With sustainability in mind, the leather in this collection is derived from off-cuts and leather remnants: a waste product from the fashion industry. After fusing on the collage art pieces with the leather backdrops, the collage charms were decorated with real 22k gold leaf through the artisan craft of gilding.

The fashion illustrations created with cut-outs from magazines and recycled textile not only have the purpose of showcasing the ORIGIN jewellery collection but also become limited edition archival prints that can be used to adorn people’s homes.
